Mijn allerliefste hondje is vandaag alweer 15! En hoewel ze nog iedere avond haar 'gekke 5 minuten' heeft en door het huis rent met een bal, zie je toch dat haar leeftijd gaat tellen. Ze kan niet meer hele rondes lopen, niet meer naar het bos, dat is te ver voor haar slechte heupen. En ze slaapt meer, maar toch ze is er nog en ze is nog steeds een hele vrolijke blije hond! Dus ik tel mijn zegeningen iedere dag weer! 😊

Thursday Challenge; Joyful

Again a two week Thursday Challenge... what's up with that?
Anyway, this time it's all about; "JOYFUL (week 1 of 2)" (Any scene that is joyful, happy, hopeful,...)


If anything makes me happy and joyful it is my almost 15 year old doggie and Autumn, those two combined and you have a winner!
Here's is a picture of her back in 2008 so she was able to go on long walks back then, not so now. But every day is a blessing to still have her in my life. 💗

Thursday Challenge; Sun (week 2)

Again a two week Thursday Challenge (don't care much for those to be perfectly honest) SUN (week 2 of 2) (Sunrise, Sunset, Sunset colors,...)

Wednesday afternoon the sun was shining and it was finally colder (for me that's great!) and the wind was blowing from the East. The leafs were coming down from the trees into the garden and I saw them whirl down into the sunlight right into the garden. When I looked up I saw a skein of geese heading toward warmer weather and I just had to take pictures of it all. So I made a collage. You can still see the geese in the first one (in front of the cloud) and the whirling leaves in the last one.

Thursday Challenge; Hair

Today's Thursday Challenge is part 2 of a two week challenge but since I had my holliday last week it's my first. It's about;  HAIR (week 2 of 2) (Long, Short, Curly, Wavy, People, Animal, Hair Style Products or Equipment,...)


 We have a lot of toads living in our garden and we have a dog who has long hair. Everyone has dog hair on them, apparently even the toads....

Efteling

Gisteren had ik het er met Melody over dat ik in het Engels ben gaan schrijven omdat ik online vrienden heb die meelezen en geen Nederlands kunnen plus dat ik me soms beter kan uitdrukken in het Engels. Maar waarom niet allebei gebruiken, zei Melody. En daar kon ik niks tegenin brengen. Dus vanaf nu gewoon weer af en toe in het Nederlands en soms in het Engels zeker als het de Thursday Challenge is waar veel buitenlanders lezen.

In onze vakantie hebben we zoals ik vorige week al zei niet veel gedaan, maar we zijn wel toen het een dagje niet zo heel heet was naar de Efteling geweest. Ik heb af en toe wat zwart wit foto's genomen en af en toe kleur. Omdat we zo vaak in de Efteling komen (ik kom er al vanaf mijn 2) kun je ook meer de tijd nemen om foto's te maken. Wij hoeven niet in al die nieuwe snelle attracties en als het niet druk is kun je rustig aan doen.

Binnendieze Den Bosch

It's been very quiet on my blog I know. I just had my holiday and it's been so very hot here these past weeks/month that I just wasn't in the mood for blogging much. We didn't go very far on holiday, mostly due to the very hot weather, we just sat in our garden in the shade reading. When we did go out it was a bit cooler.

Here are some pictures of our boat trip on the Binnendieze in Den Bosch, something we always wanted to do but never have for some reason. It was a wonderful experience.

Thursday Challenge; Expensive

It's been awhile since I've participated in the Thursday Challenge. I wanted to be on social media less plus I'm not making as many new photos as I want to. My holiday is finally starting soon so hopefully that means new pics soon as well. But for now an older one from the Rijksmuseum on the challenge;

WorldPhotoDay

Today is WorldPhotoDay and to celebrate that I have to tend to my neglected photoblog again. I was trying to be on social media less so that's why I'm on here less as well. I'm not making photos as much as I used to as well.
I still haven't got my holiday too (two weeks from now) so no fresh new pics either.
